- Day 1 Nairobi
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the VILLA ROSA KEMPINSKI HOTEL or similar for your overnight stay.
- Day 2 Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you will be met by your African Travel Specialists Kenyan driver/guide, and taken by road to your lodge in Samburu in time for lunch. The afternoon will be spent on an exciting game drive. Two nights at SAMBURU ASHNIL or similar. (B, L, D)
- Day 3 Samburu National Reserve
Today you will head out on a morning game drive in the reserve. Samburu National Park offers excellent game viewing especially to see the 'Special 5' – grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx, gerenuk and somali ostrich, all set in spectacular scenery, different to anywhere in Kenya. Early afternoon will be at your leisure, before a late afternoon game drive, after which you will return to your lodge by sundown. (B, L, D)
- Day 4 Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast you will be driven to Lake Nakuru. After lunch, you will be taken on a late afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is an excellent area to see both Hooked Lipped (Black) Rhino and Square Lipped (White) Rhino as well as Rothschild Giraffe and Defassa Waterbuck. Overnight at SAROVA LION HILL LODGE or similar. (B, L, D)
- Day 5 Lake Nakuru NP – Masai Mara
Today you will depart early for your drive to the Masai Mara, stopping for lunch en-route. Two nights at MARA SERENA LODGE or similar. (B, L, D)
- Day 6 Masai Mara Game Reserve
Today, you will head out on morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is regarded as one of the best game viewing areas in Africa, with an abundance of plains game, a high density of predators and an amazing number of species of birds. The Mara is THE place to be during the famous wildebeest migration, when millions of wildebeest and zebras fill the plains. (B, L, D)
- Day 7 Masai Mara – Serengeti
Today, you will be driven to the Isebania border to meet your African Travel Specialist Tanzanian driver/guide. On the way down through the Serengeti you will enjoy game viewing before arriving at the lodge. Two nights SERENGETI SERENA LODGE or similar. (B, L, D)
- Day 8 Serengeti
Today you will be taken on a morning game drive, returning to your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive to explore the park. (B, L, D)
- Day 9 Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, you will depart via Olduvai Gorge for Ngorongoro Crater where you will spend two nights at NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE or similar. (B, L, D)
- Day 10 Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will be taken into the crater, for an almost full day safari, with a picnic lunch. (B, L, D)
- Day 11 Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara
This morning you will depart for Lake Manyara, reaching your lodge in time for lunch, followed by a game drive. Overnight LAKE MANYARA SERENA LODGE. (B, L, D)
- Day 12 Lake Manyara – Nairobi
Today you will be driven onto Arusha for lunch before crossing the border back to Nairobi. Overnight at the FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON HOTEL. (B, L)
- Day 13 Nairobi Depart
Day at leisure to explore Nairobi, before you are transferred to the airport and the end of your safari. (B)
