BOOKING CONDITIONS

 

 

By making payment, we understand that you have read and accepted these conditions.



Deposits and Payments

For bookings made more than 30 days before commencement of journey, a non-refundable deposit of $200 per passenger is required within 3 calendar days of confirmation. Failure to pay the deposit within this period may result in cancellation of the booking. The balance of payment is due no later than 45 days prior to departure. For bookings made within 30 days of commencement of journey, full payment is required at the time of booking. Payment conditions are subject to change when special supplier or airfare conditions apply.

Amendment Fees
Any voluntary changes to departure dates and/or itinerary after booking confirmation and acceptance will incur an amendment fee of $150 per passenger for International travel or $55 per passenger for Domestic travel, in addition to any fees imposed by third-party suppliers. These may include, but are not limited to, airlines, hotels, cruise operators, tour operators, rail providers, and car rental companies.

Cancellations
Cancellation fees will apply if you choose to cancel or terminate your booking. All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received 15 days or more prior to the scheduled departure will result in the forfeiture of the deposit to Delta Holidays, along with any additional fees charged by third-party suppliers. Cancellations received within 14 days of the scheduled departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Airfare cancellation policies vary depending on the fare rules of the respective airline. Delta Holidays reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the total airfare value for any cancellation request, irrespective of the reason for cancellation. Please check with your travel consultant at the time of booking for applicable airfare conditions and charges.

Refunds
No refunds will be provided for unused or cancelled services once travel has commenced.

Cancellations and Amendments by Third Party Suppliers
Third party suppliers reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or amend any itinerary due to operational requirements or circumstances beyond their control, including airline schedule changes or cruise itinerary alterations. In instances where such amendments result in additional or amended services that increase overall costs, Delta Holidays reserves the right to pass on any resulting surcharge to you.

Prices and Surcharges
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars and include applicable government levies, airport taxes, and fees. Prices are correct at the time of booking but are subject to change without notice until full payment has been received. This is due to factors beyond our control, such as currency fluctuations, changes in government legislation, airfare adjustments, or fuel surcharges. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to accept responsibility for the payment of any such surcharges or price increases that may apply.

Credit Card Payments
All credit card transactions will incur a surcharge. The applicable fee varies depending on the type of credit card used and the total transaction amount. This surcharge will be disclosed at the time of payment.

Travel Documents
Travel documents will be issued once final payment has been received in full. These are typically provided two weeks prior to departure. All travel documents are non-transferable. Please ensure that airline tickets are issued in the exact name as it appears on the passport, as discrepancies may result in denied boarding or additional fees.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance provides important protection against cancellation fees, loss or damage to baggage, and unexpected medical expenses that may arise while travelling. Please speak with your travel consultant if you would like assistance obtaining a policy.

Passport and Visa Requirements
All travellers must hold a valid passport with a minimum of six months' validity beyond their return date to Australia. We will advise you on the necessary visa requirements for your journey; however, it remains your responsibility to ensure that you obtain all required visas and comply with entry, transit, and exit regulations for each country you plan to visit. Responsibilities
Delta Holidays Pty Ltd acts solely as an agent on behalf of third-party suppliers providing accommodation, transportation, and other services included in your travel arrangements. All tickets, vouchers, coupons, and other documents issued by Delta Holidays are issued subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant service providers. We provide travel arrangements on the understanding that Delta Holidays is not liable for any death, injury, loss, damage, delay, or additional expenses incurred due to any act, omission, default, or negligence of any company or individual engaged in providing the services included in your travel package. This includes, but is not limited to, transportation operators, hoteliers, guesthouses, tour operators, and other third parties. We accept no responsibility for losses or unforeseen expenses resulting from delays, changes in schedules, overbookings, defaults, illness, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine, pandemics, government travel restrictions, or other causes beyond our control. All such costs and losses are borne by the traveller. Baggage is carried entirely at the owner’s risk unless insured. All travel services and arrangements are subject to the individual terms and conditions of the service providers involved, including but not limited to those related to ground transportation, accommodation, meals, sightseeing, luggage allowances, taxes, tips, deposits, and cancellations. Items of a personal nature—such as meals not specified in the itinerary, beverages, phone calls, passport and visa fees, airport taxes, excess luggage, insurance, and gratuities—are not included in the cost of the itinerary unless otherwise specified. Airlines are responsible solely for the air travel portion of your journey, in accordance with their individual passenger carriage contracts and the applicable international laws, treaties, and regulations governing air transportation. Passengers travelling on restricted fares are responsible for complying with the conditions attached to those fares. Airlines accept no liability for any act, omission, or event that occurs outside of the time passengers are on board their aircraft. By purchasing an airline ticket as part of your travel arrangements, you acknowledge and accept these conditions as outlined by the operating carrier. The aforementioned conditions also apply to all other forms of transportation included in your itinerary, beyond air travel. This includes, but is not limited to, rail, coach, ferry, and car hire services arranged as part of your journey.
